Keyboard Maestro lets you easily copy a macro or a set of actions as an image (using the Copy ➤ Copy as Image menu), and this macro can be used from the file select dialog box to save the image to a file and then select it. You cannot yet drag or paste an image into a post, so you must select the image using the Upload (Control-G) tool button. Macros can run immediately they are imported, and can do anything you can do, including for example deleting all your files. You should use extreme caution when installing any macro from an unknown source (which includes any macro on this forum). Please ensure the macros are safe (if in doubt, post only an image of the macro actions).Īs a corollary - macros can be dangerous. If you have generally useful macros (or even macros that make interesting examples), please post them to the macro category. By showing that you have tried to come up with a solution you demonstrate that you have put in some effort already, and by including explicit details up front you avoid time wasting back and forth.
